EVS Knee Brace Socks VS Sleeves

This past weekend I was finally able to try out my new knee braces. I first purchased a pre-owned set to try out on a couple of rides, so I could see whether or not they were something I would like riding in (more on that topic later in this post). Before I tried out the knee braces, I first wanted to find something to wear between my skin and the brace to keep them from rubbing. So which is the best option: knee brace socks or sleeves?

Knee Brace Socks

Pros-

• Stay in place
• Provide high level of protection

Cons-

• Material is thick and warmer than sleeves
• Single day use only

Knee Brace Sleeves

Pros-

• Thin, cooler material 
• Could be used a second day 

Cons-

• Tend to bunch-up 

Overall, after trying out both types of materials my preference was for the socks over sleeves. The only downside is I would like to get a second set, so I don't have to put on sweaty socks on the second day of riding. If its a hot day I will brake out the sleeves again, but that is a few months away.
