I was doing research on which brake pad, and rotor combination to use. The number one thing that I wanted was stopping consistently, and durability. The second thing that I wanted to achieve was getting rid of the squeaking noise in a long woods sections. I contacted a few manufactures of brake pads, and the one company that I found to have a good answer to cure both issues was DP Brakes. After being told why there brakes were superior to other manufacturers I went to there web page to read more about there technology. The one thing that stood out to me was the ceramic material that they put on the back of the pads to dissipate the heat keeping your fluid cooler. On the squeaking issue that we have all heard there solution was to use a graphite material that is mixed into each layer of the pad to eliminate noise.
