How To Clean/Remove PW-50 Air Filter

Cleaning and maintaining your PW-50's air filter will make the bike run better, and keep debris from entering the carburetor. This is a step-by-step guide on how to remove the air filter for cleaning.

Step 1
Remove both 10mm bolts from under rear fender. "See Picture 1 Below"

Step 2
Remove seat and side covers.

Step 3
Remove Phillips head screw on bottom left side of filter housing mount. "See Picture 2 Below"

Step 4
Remove spring clip holding air filter boot to carburetor intake.

Step 5
After removing air filter box loosen Phillips head screw locate in the middle of the air box. "See Picture 3 Below"

Step 6
Separate air box and remove filter for cleaning.
